Key Responsibilities: - Warmly greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued. - Manage reservations and seating arrangements to maximize efficiency and ensure prompt service for all guests. - Provide menus and assist in minor service duties as necessary, ensuring seamless communication with the waitstaff. - Handle inquiries and reservations over the phone, offering helpful and accurate information regarding the restaurant’s menu, hours, and events. - Maintain a clean and organized reception area, fostering a pleasant environment for all guests and staff. - Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure consistent and smooth restaurant operations. - Address guest concerns or complaints with professionalism, escalating situations to management when necessary. - Stay informed about restaurant offerings, promotions, and updates, effectively communicating these to guests as needed. Qualifications: - Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred but not required. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction. - Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. - Basic computer skills and familiarity with reservation management systems is a plus.
