The Role
We're seeking an Associate Product Manager to join our product team and play a key role in shaping the future of our platform. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone early in their product management career to work directly with customers, collaborate with engineering teams, and influence product strategy. You'll be involved in every stage of the product lifecycle, from discovery and ideation through to launch and iteration.
This is a fully remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere while being part of a dynamic and supportive team.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, sales, and customer success to define and execute product roadmap initiatives
- Conduct customer interviews and research to deeply understand user needs, pain points, and opportunities for product improvement
- Translate customer insights and business requirements into clear product specifications and user stories
- Work closely with engineering teams throughout the development process to ensure successful feature delivery
- Analyze product metrics and user feedback to inform data-driven decisions and prioritize feature development
- Participate in product strategy discussions and contribute ideas that shape the direction of our platform
- Support product launches by coordinating with marketing and sales teams to ensure successful go-to-market execution
- Maintain and communicate product documentation, including roadmaps, release notes, and feature specifications
- Act as a voice of the customer within the organization, advocating for user experience and product quality
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in product management, product operations, or a related role such as business analysis or technical project management
- Experience working in B2B environments is strongly preferred; understanding of enterprise software and SaaS business models is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-informed decisions
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with technical teams and understand software development processes
- Customer-centric mindset with a passion for understanding user needs and delivering value
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a fast-paced startup environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Nice to Have
- Experience with product management tools such as Jira, Productboard, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Technical background or understanding of software architecture and APIs
- Previous startup or early-stage company experience
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing
