Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend systems and APIs to support our applications. - Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless integrations and ensure a smooth user experience. - Implement robust and secure data storage solutions, integrating new, as well as maintaining existing databases. - Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality software solutions, optimizing code for performance and scalability. - Participate in code and design reviews to maintain high development standards. - Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends; integrate new frameworks and tools that enhance the development process and improve product quality. - Mentor and lead junior developers, providing guidance and expertise to foster a collaborative and high-performing development environment. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development, with a focus on designing and building complex, data-driven applications. - Proficiency in server-side languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, or Node.js. - Experience with database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with hands-on experience in deploying and managing cloud-based applications. - Understanding of microservices architecture and experience working with RESTful APIs. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Docker, and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. - Experience working within an Agile/Scrum team environment. - Knowledge of frontend technologies and frameworks, including React, Angular, or Vue.js, to facilitate full-stack development collaboration. - Experience in data modeling and understanding of application security best practices.
