Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate Part-time Store Manager to lead our retail operations and deliver an outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate will bring genuine enthusiasm for cigars, particularly Dominican varieties, and the ability to connect with our diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery
- Provide expert guidance to customers on cigar selection, storage, and enjoyment
- Manage inventory levels and maintain optimal product presentation
- Lead and mentor store staff to deliver exceptional customer service
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regular customers and cigar enthusiasts
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and care
- Process sales transactions accurately and manage cash handling procedures
- Maintain store cleanliness and create an inviting atmosphere for customers
- Stay current on industry trends, new products, and cigar culture
Required Qualifications
- Genuine passion for cigars, with particular appreciation for Dominican cigars and their characteristics
- Basic Spanish language skills, sufficient to communicate with Spanish-speaking customers and understand common cigar terminology
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including potential evenings and weekends
