About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to clients while building meaningful relationships with talented candidates. You'll manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from identifying client needs to successfully placing candidates in roles where they can thrive. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their hiring needs, company culture, and business objectives
- Source, screen, and interview candidates using various channels including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial client briefing through to candidate placement and follow-up
- Conduct thorough candidate assessments to evaluate skills, experience, cultural fit, and career aspirations
- Negotiate offers between clients and candidates, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates through proactive talent mapping and market research
- Provide expert market insights and salary benchmarking advice to clients and candidates
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly recruitment targets and KPIs
- Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system and ensure compliance with all relevant employment legislation
- Represent the company at networking events, career fairs, and industry functions
- Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or sales (agency or corporate environment)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding recruitment targets and performance metrics
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Exceptional negotiation and influencing abilities
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other recruitment tools
- Self-motivated with a competitive drive and entrepreneurial mindset
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification in recruitment or human resources (e.g., AIRS, SHRM-CP, CIPD)
- Experience recruiting within specific industry sectors or functional areas
- Established network of clients and candidates within the market
- Experience with Boolean search techniques and advanced sourcing strategies
- Familiarity with employment law and compliance requirements
