Position: Clown Job Overview: We are seeking a creative and energetic Clown to join our entertainment team. As a Clown, you will be responsible for providing laughter and joy to diverse audiences through a variety of performances. Your role is to captivate children and adults alike with comedic acts, balloon artistry, juggling, and magic tricks. Your aim will be to bring happiness, cheer, and an unforgettable experience to all who watch your performances. Key Responsibilities: - Perform clown acts and skits tailored to different audience types at various events, such as birthday parties, festivals, and corporate functions. - Interact with audiences to engage them in entertaining activities and games, ensuring an inclusive and positive experience. - Create and maintain original characters that resonate with a wide range of audiences through inventive costumes, makeup, and signature acts. - Develop and rehearse comedic routines that incorporate diverse skills such as juggling, magic, and balloon twisting. - Ensure the safety and wellbeing of audience members, particularly children, during performances. - Collaborate with event coordinators and other performers to organize and execute seamless performance schedules. - Maintain props, costumes, and equipment in excellent condition, ensuring timely set-up and pack-down for events. - Represent the company with professionalism and uphold the highest standards of performance and customer service. Requirements: - Prior experience as a performer, comedian, or entertainer, preferably as a clown or similar role. - Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver engaging performances for various age groups. - Proficiency in clown skills, including juggling, mime, storytelling, balloon modeling, and magic tricks. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with audiences and team members. - Creativity and innovation in character development and performance dynamics. - Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate event schedules. - Ability to work independently and as part of a vibrant entertainment team. - A valid driver's license is advantageous for traveling to different event locations. Preferred Qualifications: - Certification from a recognized clown or performing arts school. - Experience in special effects makeup. - Background in theatre, drama, or any other performing arts discipline.
