About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Software Product Manager to join our dynamic team and drive the strategic vision and execution of our software products. In this role, you will serve as the bridge between business objectives, technical teams, and customer needs, ensuring that our products deliver exceptional value and maintain competitive advantage in the market. You will own the product roadmap, prioritize features, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with company goals and market opportunities
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify user needs and market trends
- Gather, prioritize, and manage product requirements from stakeholders, customers, and internal teams
- Create detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams throughout the product development lifecycle
- Make data-driven decisions using analytics, user feedback, and key performance indicators to optimize product performance
- Manage product backlog and sprint planning in an Agile development environment
- Lead product launches, including go-to-market strategy, positioning, and coordination with marketing teams
- Monitor product metrics and user feedback post-launch to drive continuous improvement
- Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for your product area
- Present product updates, roadmaps, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the product development process
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus
- 5+ years of experience in software product management or related roles
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing software products from concept to market
- Strong understanding of software development processes, methodologies, and technologies
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Aha!, ProductBoard)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with technical teams and translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking capabilities
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and customer discovery
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SaaS, cloud-based, or enterprise software products
- Technical background or experience in software engineering
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and best practices
- Experience with product analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude, Google Analytics)
- Knowledge of modern software architectures, APIs, and integration patterns
- Product management certification (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, Product School)
- Experience in B2B or B2C product environments
- Understanding of AI/ML, mobile development, or other emerging technologies
